Return Policies
To process your request as efficiently as possible, in the event that you need to return an item, our return policy is as follows: 1) Please call 303-255-9393 for a Return Authorization number (returns will not be accepted unless accompanied by this number) and be sure to write your RA number on the shipping label. 2) All returns must be in their original packaging 3) include a copy of your invoice or packing slip. 4) Claims for discrepancies in shipment must be made within 24 hours of receipt of merchandise or they will not be accepted. 5) Materials returned after 30 days from date of shipment will not be accepted. 6) C.O.D. returns will not be accepted. 7) Altered items will not be accepted.
PRICING AND CHARGES
Product Items: Prices and charges are effective upon publication and are subject to change without notice. All prices are quoted in US dollars. We reserve the right to pass on any surcharges or impose purchase restrictions or limits at any time.
Misc. Charges: All orders are subject to applicable shipping, freight, taxes and processing charges. Shipping charges for ground service on all stocking orders are determined by Standard UPS rates based on the combined weight of all items on the order. Shipping charges for non-stocking items and premium shipping services will be subject to the carrier's published rates plus any applicable additional handling charges. In some cases shipping charges may be less than Tandem Solutions actual cost to process and ship.
Carrier Surcharges: Carriers may impose surcharges, which vary by carrier and may change at the carrier's discretion. Tandem Solutions will pass on the surcharge.
BILLING OPTIONS and requirements
All orders are billed to your Credit Card, Unless prior approval for payment terms have been established. All open term accounts are required to have a valid credit card on file at Tandem Solutions. If payment is not received after 45 days, then the credit card on file may be charged the amount past due.
DAMAGED OR LOST SHIPMENTS
"You are responsible to check your order upon arrival. All Shortages and/or damages must be reported within 24 hours to Tandem Solutions @ 303-255-9393.
Truck Shipment (when you select the carrier): Check your order immediately upon arrival. All damages must be noted on delivery receipt. All damages and shortages must be called in to the trucker you chose within 7 days. All damaged containers and merchandise must be kept for your trucker to inspect. At that time you will file a claim with your trucker.
WARRANTIES
General Merchandise Warranty: Except as otherwise stated, the only warranties applying to materials sold are those, if any, specifically provided by the manufacturer to be honored by the manufacturer. Items marked Lifetime Warranty are subject to manufacturer's warranty terms. As sellers, Tandem Solutions makes no warranties, expressed or implied, of performance, merchantability, workmanship, quality, durability, suitability, or non-infringement including those instances where changes, alterations or modifications are made in materials at the request or instruction of the purchaser. Our obligation is limited only to the repair or replacement of defective parts or, at our sole option, to refund the purchase price. This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of any and all other warranties, whether written or oral, expressed or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall we be liable for any incidental, special, indirect, punitive, lost profits or consequential damages of any nature. A full refund will be given, subject to our Q.A. inspection, for any defective item returned to us and received by us within 30 days of the date of shipment in its original packaging. Exception: Phase converters in You-Build-It Kit form are final sale only.
RESPONSIBILITY
The value of the defective product or material is our only liability. All technical data has been supplied by the manufacturer and is listed only as a convenience. We do not warrant or represent that the merchandise complies with the provisions of any law, particularly the Walsh-Healey Public Contracts Act, and the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, and regulations promulgated thereunder, unless the manufacturer so warrants.
Publication Errors: Although all information on this site has been carefully checked for accuracy, errors and omissions occasionally occur and therefore are subject to correction. We regret any inconvenience.
Compliance with Laws
Some localities may have Codes, Regulations and Laws governing sales, installation, use or construction of items for certain purposes which may vary from place to place. Tandem Solutions does not guarantee compliance and assumes no responsibility for how the items are used or installed. The customer has the sole responsibility for compliance with all applicable Codes, Regulations and Laws. This includes but is not limited to CSA, FAA, DOT, NEC, UL, NOM, IATA, IMDG, CE, DIN, and ANSI, concerning the use or installation of items.
Environmental and Safety
VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) Limits: Tandem Solutions may be prohibited from offering certain products due to restrictions or requirements of various federal, state, local and other authorities having jurisdiction in these matters. VOC restrictions may change without notice. If this occurs, your sales representative will notify you at order time.
Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS): Tandem Solutions may be prohibited from offering certain products that contain chemicals (hydrochlorofluorocarbons) to customers that are not commercial customers as defined by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). As per the USEPA, it is a violation of federal law to sell, distribute, or offer to sell or distribute any chlorofluorocarbon or aerosol hydrochlorofluorocarbon containing cleaning fluid for electronic and photographic equipment to anyone who is not a commercial user of this product. The penalty for violating this prohibition can be up to $25,000 per sale. Individuals purchasing such products must present proof of their commercial status in accordance with 40 CFR 82.68(a) or (c). ODS restrictions may change without notice.
California Proposition 65: Some products may contain chemicals and, therefore, be subject to warning requirements of California Proposition 65. Proposition 65 requires certain chemicals identified by the State of California as causing birth defects or other reproductive harm or cancer to require written warnings on Tandem Solutions packing slips.
"MERCURY CONTAINING PRODUCTS: Some products may contain mercury and may, therefore, be subject to federal, state, or local regulations regarding their purchase, use, handling and/or disposal. Purchasers should consult the regulations applicable to their operations regarding these products."
Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS): Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS): A document required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) providing specific Safety, Health and Environmental information about a product deemed to be hazardous (e.g. Hazardous Ingredients, Physical Hazards, Health Hazards, Safe Handling, Control Measures and more.)
Manufacturers or importers are required to produce MSDSs and employers are required to have them available for their staff as per OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200. Tandem Solutions expressly relies on the evaluation of the chemical manufacturer/importer contained therein. Tandem Solutions provides Material Safety Data Sheets when required. An MSDS will be provided for a product when: You order the product for the first time, an updated MSDS is received from the manufacturer/importer; or you request another MSDS.
RETURNS & REPAIRS
Returns: Except as otherwise provided, no material will be accepted for return after 30 days from date of shipment. To return merchandise, you must call Tandem Solutions at 303-255-9393 for a Return Authorization number. No returns will be accepted without a Return Authorization number. Include a copy of your invoice or packing slip with your return. All merchandise must be returned in its original packaging and condition. Any claims for discrepancies in shipment must be made within 24 hours of receipt of merchandise. C.O.D. returns will not be accepted. Shipping charges for returned items must be prepaid. No return of altered items. A re-stocking charge may be applied.
DEBT COLLECTION
If Tandem Solutions does not receive payment within the given payment terms, a 2.5% "Monthly" Late Fee will be assessed on any past due amounts. Tandem Solutions reserves the right to collect "All Legal Fee's" and associated costs necessary to collect past due amounts owed from the account holder associated with the invoice.
